What is No-Code?

No-code, or visual programming is an innovative new way of building software (apps, web-apps and websites) without writing code or understanding coding language. It's also a movement led by a new suite of tools that allow non-techies to build software using visual drag-and-drop elements and create logic in plain English. Think of it like a PowerPoint for app building. It’s much more user-friendly and can be learned in months instead of years. Perfect for non-technical entrepreneurs.

Is WeAreNoCode a No-Code tool?

No, WeAreNoCode is an online school for non-technical entrepreneurs. We teach actionable startup methodology and how to build and launch websites and apps with no-code. Our mission is to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs in an increasingly digital era.

What is the difference between your programs?

The Academy is a DIY (do-it-yourself) learning platform and community that provides everything you need to launch your next business as a non-techie. No-Code courses, community events, and a limited discount package. The No-Code Startup is a hands-on accelerator with coaching and mentorship to fast-track your journey with a group of other founders. I'm really not technical. Is this for me?

That's fine. We've helped founders at all levels and know how to get you your first AHA moment quickly. There are tools adapted to each level, and we are here to support you along the way. Remember that the goal is not to become your own Chief Technology Officer, it's to be self-reliant and able to build your first product and get things off the ground. After all, every new business requires a website or app, so it's time to level up and become a founder of the future.assa.

What can I built with no-code?

You can pretty much build any app or website with no-code tools. Two-sided marketplaces like Airbnb or Amazon, social networks like Twitter or Youtube, and even internal management tools with dashboards. There are however some exceptions to what you can build. For example, it's possible to build web3 projects, but you can't build blockchain infrastructure with no-code. Yet.

Is no-code scalable?

The short answer is YES. No-Code tools can be used to build software that scales to hundreds of thousands of users. Once you go beyond that, coding or not, you will need to rebuild parts of your solution to scale to the millions. For example, Twitter, Facebook and countless other apps (mobile /web) rebuilt their infrastructure. In general, we call this a great problem to have.

Who owns my app?

Here the rule is simple. You build, You own. All no-code platforms we teach, do not claim any ownership of your IP (Intellectual Property Rights) or your code base.

Where will it be hosted?

Your app will be hosted on the no-code tool you choose to develop on. These platforms usually operate on Amazon Web Services. Some tools allow you to extract the codebase, make further modifications and/or select your own hosting provider.

What about cyber security?

When building with no-code you get to take advantage of the security layer built in by the no-code tool you choose. You no longer need to pay for security audits or cybersecurity specialists. This allows you to focus on building features your customers need.

How long will it take to build my own app?

If you are a complete newbie to no-code, it will usually take a couple of weeks to build simple solutions and a couple of months to build more complex software.
